PG Cert Sports Physiotherapy MCSP
Senior Physiotherapist / Director
Having qualified from Sheffield Hallam University, I worked for Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s University Hospitals NHS Trust, gaining a wide variety of physiotherapy experience. Much of this time was spent specialsing in paediatrics working with children of different ages and with varying needs. I have a particular interest in musculoskeletal conditions (problems with the muscles / soft tissues and joints either caused by injury or some predisposing factor of growth) both with adults and children.
As well as working for the NHS I have also gained a wealth of experience in the sports field with both adults and children. Having worked with Trafford MVRFCC since 2001 and having worked with Manchester City Football Club Academy for 3 seasons. Additionally, I have completed a postgraduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University. I have also gained further knowledge and skills from many courses and completing regular continued professional development in order to build on my already extensive and effective skills.
I am committed to providing the best evidence based care to my patients with a pro-active, friendly and flexible approach and I will always strive to continue to learn and develop further.
